For those who didn't know it, Mike and Linda tied the knot today. I surprised Mike a few months ago when I told him the day I knew he had met a very special lady. He was all smiles, such a better outlook and just plain happy.  I didn't know Linda before they met, but I can tell you that these two are made for each other!

I've seen pictures of the cake, the happy couple kissing, Mike being rather dressed up in a very nice pale green long sleeve button down collar shirt and black slacks (no tie, as I expected !), Linda in a very nice off white wedding dress, and of the happy family members.

They are enjoying a quiet vacation, far away from the wrath of Irma!  They had reservations for a few days in the Bahamas for their honeymoon. I suggested they plan that trip for their 1st or the 5th anniversary. He seemed to like that idea. And yes, they did have trip insurance.

Thank you all for the beautiful wedding congrats and gracious, heartwarming comments!  We are both humbled by the from the heart comments.  We are up in Northern Michigan on our honeymoon since our trip to the Virgin Islands was washed out by hurricane Irma.   Inasmuch as we lost out on what we thought was going to be a beautiful trip to the Caribbean, we are both safe and have not lost nearly as much as the poor folks who took the direct hit from the hurricane. We have our lives and happiness together as a new couple and look forward to the future together.    Thanks again for all the wonderful comments of love and happiness and we certainly are having a great time right now and will relax for a few days before heading back home.
