Papa, it is helpful if you update your signature line so we know what trailer you have.  I don’t think you can move the 400 by hand.  We have the 320 clamshell.  It takes 2 people and works best on pavement/hard ground - gravel is a bear.  There are trailer dollies that some owners have used.

@Papa, Dale is referring to the breakaway brake cable - the one you attach to your TV or hitch.
@Dalehelman, that is smart!  I am so doing that the next time.

I have this that I bought to move my 20' boat around. Works even better for the T@B

I bought the 12. One of the complaints is that it is low. Good thing the T@B tongue is nice and low. On the boat I have to lower it quite a bit to reach. No issue with the T@B. Just make sure the tongue wheel is off as it can interfere when turning.

Oh, and make sure you buy a 2" ball to go with it.

Harbor Freight has the same dolly at about the same price. I've had mine for two trailers now and really like the ease of moving the trailer around with it.
@Dalehelman, Yep, I found WHOA HORSE doesn't work at all!!!! :fearful::rofl:

The 12 inch is a much more substantial wheel and tire.  I think HF is 10 inch.

I have the HF trailer dolly and it makes moving the Tab by myself possible, and simple.

I am able to easily move the 400 by hand on a hard surface and to push it in and out of my storage building using the front roller wheel.
Much easier than trying to back it into a narrow doorway. :)

I think sometimes people are talking about moving their trailers around at their camp site by hand. We reposition our trailer by hand at most sites. That’s one of best things about aT@B the single axel makes it very  maneuverable.

@DeltaPop, good to know you can manually move the 400.  I thought it might be too heavy.

A nice big, wide jockey wheel really helps on campsite surfaces!

Moving our 320 is generally pretty easy depending on surface conditions. Sometimes a little to easy. A trick I use to insure that it does not get away if I find myself on a slight slope. I hold the emergency brake away in one hand. If things start to get out of hand I I can pull it and set the brakes.
Wish I'd thought of this last summer!  Camping in glacier last summer, chocked one wheel, cranked the trailer off the ball, and off goes the T@b  in a circle.  I'm obviously not good at judging slopes by eye, I was sure the other side wouldn't go anywhere.  Next camp you can be sure both sides were chocked first.

Best part though was once T@b stopped it was right where I wanted it. 😂
