Installed 2 burner stove question

Does anyone know why NuCamp uses a 2 burner stove which is "match lit", rather than putting one in that has a "sparker" built in?

Basic stove model, industry standard?  The sparkers have been known to wear out and you end up using a match anyway.

In addition, an electronic spark ignite is energy needed when a match will do. For some of our serious boondockers, it would be wasted energy. (Pssst. Them folks be serious about energy consumption and usage!).

I keep a piezoelectric lighter inside the stove.

This feature must be a late model change, our 2015 320 S has the sparker starter feature.

My 2019 Tab 320 S (Boondock Lite) does not have a starter.

I've wondered why, indeed!

@Ratkity... The piezo-electric sparkers (like on an outdoor gas grill) use your thumb energy, no outside energy source needed!

@ChanW I was thinking electric igniters, not peizo. Those fail so much.
