Sewer hose

I don't run a hose inside but do run a gallon or so by pouring into toilet. Then close valve, put in another half gallon and one of those blue packets. Seems to work.
Of course then switch to gray water to flush the hose. And a hose rinse with fresh.
Have never had to use my utility hose at a dump station, they've all had one of some kind - usually dangling from a pole.

We took a trip to Florida and were moving right along after spending the night at an RV park and a car pulled up beside us and the lady mouthed something and pointed to the T@B.  We pulled over and sure enough, the sewer hose was dragging and the connections were ruined along with the hose.  I appreciate people letting me know we have a problem while towing.  Since then I've put a retainer not he bottom of the tank cover and hopefully it won't happen again.

I secure mine with ball bunnies to the propane tank - unless my propane tanks drops out the bottom my hose ain't going anywhere :-)

Another noobie question about sewer hoses.  I just received a 15' Rhino flex hose I ordered online from Wal-mart.  Hose diameter is 3" with comparable sized bayonet connectors.  I was thinking the hose would be 4" diameter.  There is nothing on the box or in the online description giving hose diameter or anything like that.  Now I'm wondering will this hose fit the grey and black tank connectors?

The diameter of the actual hose can vary - It's the connectors that have to match and I think those are all standard. I have the Rhino Flex system and it works fine. Think mine is 15 also and I picked it up at Walmart. The hose my dealer provided was a piece of...we'll, you know.

Whew!  That's good to know.  Not sure why I thought it would bigger but you are right.  As long as the connector fits it's all good.

I asked my dealer (still waiting to pick up the t@b) about including a hose but they said no.  Which is just fine with me since it would probably be junk and I would just have to get rid of it anyway.

    Thanks for the info!!

My head is spinning. Is there a youtube video that demonstrates all this, and all the other stuff about T@Bs, setting up and taking down? If not, somebody here should make one!
Patti, most hoses will work. They come with these bayonet connectors. The one I got from the dealer had no connectors. If I wanted to use it, I would have to add them. I use a Camco Rhinoflex and it came with the connectors I needed. The T@b uses standard connectors, so if you check youtube for videos about using rv holding tanks, you will be fine. We don't have tank monitors or a way to rinse the tanks built in like some, but the basics are the same.

Just make sure your dealer shows you everything and take video with your cell phone if you need to.

I have a couple questions as we will be at a site with a sewer hook up next weekend. Our dealer provided a 10' pipe with 1 bayonet fitting which is fine for a dump station but will need something better like the rhino flex for on site. How long do i need? Are the holes real close? Also will I need one of those things that raises it off the ground?
