Hot Water - No Hot Water

Looking for some feedback.  We just de-winterized our 2017 T@B S Max Outback.  The Alde heat works fine.  We opened the valves for hot water and got hot water first try.  Yay!  Later no hot water.  Adjusted the mixer value and had hot water.  Next day, no hot water.  I'm not understanding the intermittent hot water.  Can anyone share some possible solutions?

@dagits, when you say you adjusted the mixer valve, did you back out the screw for the knob, or did you just turn the knob?

Just turned the knob.

Are you sure the Alde bypass valve is closed? Having that open could inadvertently "short-circuit" the HW distribution system (though I'm not sure why it would occur intermittently).

ScottG, the bypass valve is closed.  We learned that one last year.  :-)
