Clamshell Galley Wing Walls

Just wanted to share our latest addition - Wing Walls! They really block wind and they are very easy to install. The kit comes with the wings and sewn in poles and enough industrial strength velcro to attach the waterproof, polyester fabric. One side of the velcro is placed on the outer edge of the hatch and one side is placed on the inside edge of the galley wall. This makes for a strong effect against the wind. You must remove them to close the hatch. Light weight and easy to roll up and store. They are made by a TaG owner - Meme Eberspacher and are listed on the nuCamp shop Allproadventures.com which links you to her website: https://www.teardropgalleywingwalls.com/. She was a vendor at uCamp 2019.

I came up with a cobbled together prototype a while ago. An old tarp, some ball bungees and masking tape. I was always planning for a more refined version but........... there is nothing more permanent than a temporary solution.Meme's version looks much nicer in many ways.
Have Fun!
