We turned on the pump switch and the cold water handle blew up to the ceiling, spewing water everywhere inside the bathroom until we turned off the pump. Is there are trick to putting it on so it does not come off, or do I need a new one?
In ours, the taps on the shower point at the wall. Do you have a sink in the bathroom?
The reason I'm specific is that I've some experience with the shower tap handle, it just screws on like any tap handle, but I don't know anything about the sink.
Did the valve blow out too, attached to the handle?
Got pix?

Hi - yes, this is the cold water handle on the sink. It appears to just push into the faucet, with some rubber o-rings on the valve under the handle. We just bought the camper and were using it for the first time. No way to shut off a valve under the sink either - just a screw-on fitting. So all fittings, including toilet, kitchen sink, etc. are under pressure with pump on. I’ll take a closer look at the fitting to see if there is a turn and lock- type fitting, or how else it make stay attached.
