I can not locate the answer to what amps, 30 or 50, my 2018 320S is wired. Park I'm going to said that I needed to be wired for 50amp and if not I needed an adapter. I hate to buy one if not needed but the TAB specs don't answer this question. I appreciate your help.

Your TaB is wired for 120 V AC with a converter to supply 12 V DC to your 12 V appliances (everything except the air cond.). Your TaB cord has a 30 amp plug. In addition to a surge protector, you need a 50 amp to 30 amp plug adapter.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio

@JBurris, welcome to the forum! Where are you headed that only offers 50 amp service?Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio

Thank you Sharon. I'm going to Wilderness Lakes RV Resort in Mathis, TX. Was told that I would need an adapter when I reserved my spot. Since I'm new, I didn't think to question further.

A park that only offers 50A hookups? Be prepared to feel small in your little T@bby! ;-)

Some campgrounds/ resorts have spaces set up for only very large RVs and therefore only have 50A connections available. Why they do this is anyone's guess but it probably is the money to put in a full array of receptacles. I have experienced this myself but the campground actually had adapters to borrow with a deposit as I remember. Perhaps some of these spots have had manufactured homes which were removed and used for RVs.

I recently purchased this adapter after making a reservation at an Oregon State Park that appears to only have 50A outlets at some of the sites. Even if I don't need it there, it will be handy to have available "just in case."
