Changing a tire on TAB400 BDL

I have 3 full-size tires (235/75R15) for my 2020 TAB400 BDL and I just did my first tire rotation. I had to remove the plastic fenders to change the tires, I couldn't angle the tire out and past the hub otherwise. Did I miss a trick here?
If not, all BDL owners need to have a square driver in your TAB toolkit to remove the 7 screws if you are ever going to change a flat tire.

I am running 225/75R15's on my TAB400 and don't have a problem. I wouldn't think 10mm would make a difference. Try raising the tire higher off the ground. That will allow the tire to drop lower and not have to angle out so much.

@rh555, we hope that you are not lifting the T@B by placing your jack the axle assembly. Search here on the forum for 400 tire change instructions.Jupiter, Florida~T@B 400, with 2018 Toyota 4Runner

I had the same problem. Had to take the fender off also. I was afraid of breaking it otherwise.

@falcon1970, I thought the standard non-boondock tires are 205/75R15's which are 30mm narrower; that would make a lot of difference. I was jacking on the frame in the approved spot, but my floor jack could only get the tire about 4" off the ground. I probably wouldn't even get that using the car's scissor jack.

I replaced the standard tires with Goodyear Endurance tires. The largest they come in is 225's. In any case, 4' should be high enough. However, the Goodyear tires have a regular tread rather than the aggressive off-road tread. I wonder if that makes the difference. -
probably not, do you have the Boondock fender flavors or the standard TaB 400 flairs?

I have the Boondock TAB. I didn't know there was a difference between the two fenders.

Yes, looking at photos of 2020 Boondock TaB 400, the Boondock fender flair is thinner looking, covering less of the wheel’s side wall.
