Air8 Window Open or All Closed?

Hey all! Should all the windows/vent be closed when running the AC or does the Air8 want some kind of fresh air open to run most efficiently?
Thanks!

Open the roof vent a bit (do not turn fan on), put one window at the one click barely open. This provides a convection type of circulation, similar to your return air vent at home on your furnace.Verna, Columbus, IN

Thank you! That is exactly what I was wondering

Elwell and nuCamp also recommend a small fan (a good quality 8" USB desktop fan) be used to circulate the air. I typically leave the galley window in "vent" position and crack the roof vent a bit, as @Verna mentioned.

Quick follow up. In speaking with VP at Elwell amoment ago he recommends you do what you would do at home and in your car.
Close it up. The fan I mentioned is still a good idea but he said there's no need to have any windows or vents open.2020 T@B 400 "OTTO" (build date 08/19)

@AirBoss, my advice above is as a user of 4 teardrops. It works for me. I pretty much keep the 10+ speed Fantastic Fan vent open all the time, without the fan on. If the dogs need extra air, I do have a USB clamp-on fan that I can easily point at them.Verna, Columbus, IN

Yes, but the trailer is more like a Auto, than a house, with limited air space, and fairly sealed up, hen closed up. Auto AC adds some air from outside, so having a small window or the vent cracked open a bit, will give you some fresh air, vent CO2 and add O2 to the space. Does the Air8 have an outside fresh air intake?

Verna, understand completely. Just passing along the advice from the Elwell folks themselves.
Denny,
Yes, the Air8 has a fairly large intake under the trailer, directly below the unit. To the best of my knowledge (and that's not as a SME by any stretch!), these units do not have the "recirculate" button as on an auto. The only air it uses to cool is ambient outside air. As we know, the recirculated air in the auto cools faster and is more effifcient for the a/c unit as it's not having to work as hard to cool 90 degree outside air...the air it has to cool is already at 75 degrees or so and droping.
If I learn more about all this, I'll pass it along.2020 T@B 400 "OTTO" (build date 08/19)

Ok...time for me to fall on my sword. I had that backwards. My bust! Argh...
The air inside the rig is 100% recirculated.

On Page 24 of the Nucamp 2019 edition T@B 400 owner’s manual, it says to close all doors and windows when running the Coolcat. The Air8 manual is quite sparse, and mentions nothing about doors/windows.

@TNOutback
Yep...noticed that. The manual needs some TLC. That said, I'm going to run it closed up as it really shouldn't matter which unit you're running.
I'm headed out early in the AM for 8 days. Temps in the hi 80's low 90's expected in northern Sierra Nevada's.

Update, we’ve been leaving a side window slightly cracked open in wicked midwestern muggy heat and Air8 is doing great (with fan Always on update)
