Getting ready to fire up hot water for the first time and can’t seem to find the mix knob on this model, did they do away with it?
Thanks!
Thanks!

It's under the back right bench, when you're facing the rear of the trailer. My dealer showed it to me.2021 T@B 320 S Boondock

It is really strange that the valve is not fully adjustable without removing the knob, but I also know for a fact that the water will not be hot enough without doing it.Addison said:On mine i had to remove the adjustment knob and turn it so it would turn more -
You don't need to completely remove the knob. Just loosen the screw enough so you can move the knob out past the "catches." You can then move the knob to the new position, reseat it and tighten the screw. repeat if you need to turn the heat up more.

@schout on a 2021 320s? I don’t see any knobs under my bench, just the electrical systems.

This link will help. I believe the mixing valve is under the driver side bench near the Nautilus.

I believe that is all about liability and scalding hazards. You can (and I have) set the hot water temp to the point it was really too hot (had to loosen the screw and pull up the adjustment knob past its stop). After that, I realized they were trying to protect me from myself...but the max temp at the default configuration was way too cool for me. Just be careful with how hot you make it.JCALD said:

I was adjusting the hot water mixing valve on our new Avia (it has the same valve as on our T@b400) and I screwed it out so far that it started to leak. Does anyone know what is involved inn pulling the valve apart and repairing and damage?

@JCALD - there is a picture in this thread regarding assembly: https://tab-rv.vanillacommunity.com/discussion/comment/115593#Comment_115593Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio

@JCALD, you just unscrew the know screw enough to allow you to lift the knob past the safety stop, then screw the knob back down tight. This should stop the leak, unless it came completely apart. Then you need to flow the diagram referenced above, a d reassemble the valve back together.

Thank you so much for the link to the valve picture. It saved the day by enabling me to take it apart and clean up a couple of threads. Works great now.Sharon_is_SAM said:@JCALD - there is a picture in this thread regarding assembly: https://tab-rv.vanillacommunity.com/discussion/comment/115593#Comment_115593 -
I had the knob off trying to improve the hot water and backed the valve out so far that water started spewing out. At that point one of the threads on the black plastic piece that the knob connects too got messed up and made it to where I couldn't screw it back in. Anyway, the pic really helped and all is well now.Denny16 said:@JCALD, you just unscrew the know screw enough to allow you to lift the knob past the safety stop, then screw the knob back down tight.
