Correct Method to Change Account email ?

Have attempted to use the 'edit profile' feature to change my linked email account.
Vanilla seems to be stuck in a loop, repeating to ask me to enter my password but not changing anything or advancing when 'confirm' is pressed.

Any ideas on solution?

    Which browser are you using?  Have you tried powering down and rebooting?  Are you using the Full site or the phone mobile view?

    Can you try another browser?  I know Vanilla will ask this.
    And just to confirm, you are accessing the forum via this url  https://tab-rv.vanillacommunity.com/ - not from the nuCamp website?

    Resolved.  ADMIN did a direct change. Thanks Mike.
    I was never able to get Vanilla to update.

    So @MuttonChops - did you try another browser?  Was it Firefox?

    Yes I use Firefox.
    No I did not try another browser It Is Vanilla's Development Team Job to test on all main stream browsers.

    Browsers get updates and programs often fall through the cracks.  Vanilla and any other business platform can use feedback to change and improve.  I will ask Vanilla to check out Firefox.  

    Anybody else have any Firefox issues?

    Changing a User name is an Admin only function.

    Just out of curiosity, what does "Admin Only" mean?  If a forum member needs to change their user name or linked E-mail address, how do they do that, or who do they direct the request to?

    Administrators can change a member’s user name.  A member can change their own email address - go into your profile and select Edit Profile and save your changes.  If you find that you can’t change something, let us know.  Sometimes there are Vanilla gremlins!

    I totally get how frustrating it can be when you're trying to change your account email, and things just don't seem to work as expected. The "edit profile" feature should ideally make the process smooth, but glitches can happen. Have you tried clearing your browser cache or using a different browser? Sometimes that helps resolve unexpected loops. If that doesn't work, reaching out to the platform's support might be a good idea. Also, if you're considering a new email address, you can easily buy Gmail address to ensure a seamless transition.
