Aluminum platform and storage box

I have a 2016 TAB 320S. I desperately want to create more storage space. I have noticed that newer TAB models have the aluminum platform and center storage box on the tongue. In poking around I have found evidence that people have been able to change out their propane cover and add this manufacturer's assembly. What I can't find is who is selling it--have tried NuCamp and the Teardrop shop websites. Not finding it. Can anyone guide me in the right direction of where I might find this item? THANKS.

You need to contact any Tab dealer’s parts department. Nucamp doesn’t sell parts directly to the public anymore. You’re looking for the Boondock platform and tub.2019 320s BD Lite, white with blue (“Haven”)

Yes, you can order the new front tub/storage setup through your dealer from nuCamp. We ahanged out the original tub for the new 2021 aluminum frint tongue box, but cost for just the tongue box was $600. There was a slightly used TaB320 platform/ box combo for sale here a while back at a good price.

Thank you for all the quick responses and the shared wisdom! This was my first post on the forum and so appreciative that people take the time to respond!

I dealt with the storage issue this way. I bought stackable toolboxes from Home Depot that are water tight (they have a rubber gasket seal) and use a set on both sides of the propane/battery box. With the boxes I stow the water hoses and filters, sewage pipe, tools, electrical etc. I have them ratcheted on to the platform. This frees up internal storage and keeps all the nasty stuff (sewage hose) outside the trailer! Just be sure to put locks on the cases!

@cmcelhose, under what? Under your tv gvwr? Under your tv hitch capacity? Under the recommended t@b tongue weight? Under the trailer's gvwr? I have a tow vehicle tongue capacity of 1,100 lbs. Can I place that weight on the tongue of a t@b because my tow vehicle can handle it, but it would fold the t@b tongue (frame)? Not being critical of you, just asking for a clarification of your answer, in my uninformed attempt to understand. Thanks,

I am just curious-has anyone dinged their TV bumper on the aluminum platform? We got into a tight spot last summer and as we backed up, our turn radius was too tight and the platform hit the bumper. The tab was being backed up a slight incline at a sharp turn and next thing we know, the new truck bumper was hit. The frame was only slightly bent downward- not noticeable to anyone except us.
It seems to me if that frame had a 6 in triangle taken off the curved end at the front of each corner it would help avoid a problem.
***(of course I should have got out of the vehicle and guided him better as well! --ah the discussions we had afterward....
..... hindsight is 20/20 - but even so, cutting the frame at an angle seems like a good idea.)

My tongue weight is under the limits of the tow vehicle, hitch, tab tongue rating AND the balancing of the weight in the tab, the magical 10-15% range. Just a lot easier to say I'm under.
