My shower water (only) does not stay hot for more than a few seconds. I have had my T@B in 2 times for service for the same issue. I received one of the first 400s off the line. Has anyone else had this issue or have heard of a fix with a new part or configuration of the Alde system? It has been a bit frustrating. I heard that there is a new valve fixes this.

Has anyone ever tried adjusting the mixing valve? Here is one mixing valve thread on the "old" mixing valve.Read the whole thread. You might have to look around the trailer for it. It will be somewhere near the Alde compartment. There is a "new, improved!" mixing valve, which might be a little easier to deal with.Pictures and descriptions here. This is a very common issue..happens to many of us.

Yes most likely you have to not just turn the mixing valve all the way up but actually loosen the screw and then adjust the actual knob back towards low by popping it out, turning it back and re-seating it. Very easy to do. My 2021 400 had the same issue. When I went through the walk through at the dealer they could not get hot water so just said it was broken and were going to order a new valve. I followed the instructions on the forum and just fixed it myself. My dealer is not very up on how things work in the T@b. Learn as much as you can so you can take care of things yourself is what I'm figuring out.2021 T@b 400 BD "Vixen Gail"

If Howie has a late 2021 TaB, they have a new Alde mixing valve, no screw to remove, but there is a procedure for to,adjust the mixing valve, which requires removing the red valve top bit, which is,inverted in the valve under it and yiumusemthe red cap,to,adjust the hot water mic setting. It depends on when his 2021 was built. My 2021 was built early in the new model year and has the same mixer as the 2020 and prior ones. The new mixer was a change made during the 2021 build year. Probably wanted to get rid of old stock before they switched over.2021 T@b 400 BD "Vixen Gail"
