Electric tongue jack a hair to big?

I am in the middle of replacing my to gue jack with Northern Tools Ultra Tow 3500 lb jack. All is going swimmingly, but I might have reached the point where the jack gets returned. The new jack fits through the top hole, but not the second hole.

Am I missing something obvious, or should I go ahead and return it? I have no desire to grind the hole to expand it.

Without taking a bit off the lower hole, I wouldn’t have been able to install an ultimate jack. It didn’t take much for it to fit.

Jkjenn..... very easy to grind that second hole enough for it to fit. I bought the manual ultimate jack and same thing happened. It's just a hair to large for second hole.  I used a drill with a grinding type bit and it was very easy to make the hole little bit bigger.  I marked around the bottom of the jack post with a white china marker so I could see what needed to come off.

    This is the bit
