Water Pump Issue - Any ideas on accessing the PEX behind the toilet?

I have a 2019 T@B 320s Boondock Edge with water pump issues. The system runs fine on city water. I have disconnected the water pump intake hose and put it into a bucket and the pump is sucking water through the pump. This leads me to believe I have air entering the system somewhere on the intake side of the pump.

I had to replace the sink last summer and know that the PEX moved around a lot during this repair.

Thanks to earlier posters I have a photo of the wall behind the toilet.

Any ideas on how best to find the air leak short of cutting a hole in the wall?

Thanks!

@crosstrnr, this was the very first question I asked when I joined the forum in 2015. Unfortunately, there were no good answers. A few years later when I spring a small leak in a PEX fitting down in those nether-regions, cutting a hole in the wall was exactly what I had to do.
The project was less traumatic than I expected, and now I am happy to have a (sort of) easy way to get into that awkward space if needed.

What did you use to reseal the hole when done? Concerned since we do use the shower.

Your test of the pump might be misleading unless the intake water level was below the floor like the fresh water tank. I was fighting a similar/same issue a year ago and the pump bench tested fine from a bucket. I ended up replacing the pump. PEX is pretty rugged so it's not very likely it sprung a leak.

I used vinyl foam weatherstripping on the back of the cover. It appears to do the job just fine.

I completely missed the link in your first post -- great explanation and photos. Looking forward to working on this once it warms up a bit.
