    We have only been able to get out a couple times this summer because we are doing a kitchen reno. We were out in June and again this past week at a lovely hidden gem called Prairie Oasis. There is a lake, which is for cooling the nearby power plant. Our go to for a few days away.This last time a bunch of kids were building very cool things on the beach. No basic sand castles here.

    Labor Day weekend at Moutardier Campground near Mammoth Caves! Besides an incredible water view site, it was also the inaugural trip of our first EV tow vehicle - our new Tesla Model Y! Yes, range is impacted but we had to stop no more than we normally do and boy do those electric motors have incredible torque! Serenity was guided to her spot brilliantly!

    We were at Belle Isle State Park in Virginia this past week, on the Rappahannock River, campsite #3 ..

    Enjoyed some great hikes from the campground to spots with views along the Rappahannock River, like this one on the trail near the visitor center..

    And this one was from the end of the Watch House Trail..

    There was even an old mansion on the park grounds named the Bel Air Mansion..

    Used for special events, but it was fun exploring the backyard, which is its own huge peninsula on the river.
    The great thing about this park is that because it's very flat, you can easily ride a bike on paved access roads to get to the various scenic spots, or hike on the trails, which are mostly dirt or gravel roads & also suitable for bikes.  There's a boat ramp & dock at one spot & a very nice kayak & canoe launch at another where you can explore some of the inlets/creeks along the Rappahannock..

    Nice visitor center with educational displays & literature.

    Not just for camping. Fall antique radio and Ham Fest meets, Kutztown PA and Elmira NY.
    Meets are a lot more comfortable if you can camp at your spot.

    Hi Everyone! I've been away for awhile, but am back now! Posting some pics of our trip last weekend to Pinecrest Lake, CA. Weather wasnt great but kids had a blast! I did discover my 2 Harris 6v AGM batteries died so got some good use out of our Honda 2200 generator. Motivated me to do the lithium upgrade (underway)!

    We spent some time in September travelling through Virginia, staying at locations where our Senior America the Beautiful pass gave us a 50% discount on stays.

    Sherando Lake in the George Washington National Forest. Looking out the stargazer, watching toe warming after days of rain.

    Stony Fork in the Jefferson National Forest. Ready to watch the wildlife after a day of hiking.

    And the deer didn't disappoint. The view from our chairs...

    Our final stop was Longwood Park, a Corps. of Engineers campground on the Kerr Reservoir near Clarksville, VA

    We spent 10 nights on the road during this trip. We've slept in our T@B over 50 nights since picking it up in late March.

    Thanks Brian! It's a 2019 Porsche Cayenne, and has a max towing capacity of 7700 lbs.

    We have the Badlands with the Sasquatch package, 300hp turbo 4 and 7sp manual.  We've towed a number of 5th wheels, travel trailers and such with 1/2-ton and 1-ton trucks in the past.  Zero complaints towing the 320 with the Bronco.  Minimal sag, excellent towing dynamics and plenty of reserve power.  Love the 2dr's nimble handling with its shorter wheelbase.  It's like driving a very well-behaved go-kart--lots of fun!

    Prepping to make our annual trek to the Florida Keys with our 320 in Jan.  Can't wait!
