Moab, Utah April 12-16th, 2023. We stayed at the Holiday KOA. We checked out several campgrounds along the river outside town, but they were all full. We saw a 320 and a 400 who'd managed to snag spots. It worked out well though, since it was mainly a place to park when we weren't out in the Jeep and it was just one turn down from our friends' AirBnb. It was clean, quiet, and had nice hot showers, but the TP quality made the vault toilets' toilet paper look like luxury in comparison. Picture of Onion Creek included just because.
At a Harvest Hosts (HH) site in Ukiah, CA at Nelson Family Vineyards. Since it's HH, everything has to be self-contained with no tables outside or anything. That was fine with us. Hills on one side and the winery on the other.

@xdr Yes, it was beautiful, peaceful and green. It's northern California, so that entire area has had lots of rain for the past four months. It rained the night before we got there, too.

From sunrise in the T@B to sunset at Stonelick State Park in Ohio - our first official camping outing of the season! Yippee!! This is a quaint little campground practically in our backyard making it an easy weekend getaway. But this is just getting us ready for the bigger trip coming soon - a week in Platte River Campground in Sleep Bear Dunes Michigan...
When you use Harvest Host, how do you go about dumping black/gray tanks afterward? Do you travel with full fresh water tanks? When ever we overnight at a highway rest area or Cracker Barrel or such, we don't use the trailer, just sleep in the car for a coulpe of hours.

We travel with full water tank. sometime a host will have a 110v outlet and/or a hose bib for water. We always carry an extension cord, adapter, and hose (and pressure regulator). HarvesHost App now also shows dump sites. That said, we have a cassette toilet which is easily dumped in any toilet. All of the Hosts we have stayed at have been wonderful. We just need to learn to control ourselves with the wine purchases as a 'free' stay quickly turns into a sizable cash outlay! lol!

Like @Sharon_is_SAM posted, there are ways to find dump locations along a route. For times when nothing turns up, I'll transfer into a Rhino tote at home and dump it down the sewer clean-out in the back yard. We try to keep water in the fresh water tank at all times while on the road. We have no problem sleeping in our T@B at rest areas or Cracker Barrel when that's the only option.

We were camping last weekend at Loyalsock State Forest, Masten camp. Primitive. They had some porta potties for the hikers. We camped with the Tearjerker group. I think there were 7 campers.
Shakedown after the winter, at the Metolius River in OR. Some minor issue with the battery monitor, the added fan above the condenser for the fridge worked well.

At Black River State Forest, East Fork Camp Grounds in Wisconsin. No shore power, vault toilets. Two campers in 24 sites. Super relaxing along the river. Couldn’t upload all images probably due to poor cellular connection.

Quechee State Park in VT. Mid-week camping in the VT state parks during shoulder season is absolutely the best time to go. The days were sunny. The nights were cool. As good as it gets!

Let the season begin! Our second bucket list campground since adopting Serenity last year - Platte River Campground in Sleeping Bear Dunes Lakeshore. A wonderful week of landscapes, sunsets, wineries, and starry skies!
Our campsite - Loop 2, Site 218. Amazing how quiet this campground was!
Our screen house was a must - mosquitos were quite prevalent!

There are people way down at the bottom of this hill that will have to come up eventually...
Just a short 1 mile hike from our campsite rewarded us with this view!
