Is this the correct color for Alde fluid? I think the Airstream dealer just screwed me!

I took my 2022 Tab 400 to the local Airstream dealer because they ASSURED me that they could do the Alde fluid change. I was adamant that it MUST be Alde brand fluid! The guy there even joked with me that "heads would roll" if they didn't use the correct fluid. He assured me the tech there know better.
But isn't the "new" Alde fluid blue-green? This fluid is very YELLOW! I'm sick to my stomach.

Hi, It sure does not look like the correct fluid. If it's a local dealer, I'd suggest to go back and insist you see the containers and the labels on them. If they used the wrong fluid per Alde's OEM recommendation, seems like they would be responsible for changing it to the correct fluid. If true, sorry to hear this.2025 360 CS

That does look like the old Century fluid. I'd say that they may owe you a thorough flush and refill with the Alde/Rhomar glycol.

The differences in the two glycols is very small. Your Alde will be fine. Many owners who have changed their own glycol, or had it done by someone, stayed with the Century brand glycol. What was in your trailer before?

Units built after 1/4/2021 were supposedly shipped with the new Rohmer glycol.

If your 2022 came with Rohmer and the dealer put in Century without a complete flush, there could be some issues arising from incompatibility. At least that's the case when switching from Century to Rohmer.2015 T@B Max S (320)

I should've included this pic. It clearly says use only the BLUE fluid! I'm so glad the sticker specifies this because I guarantee they would try to assure me that it's all the same.
I can't believe the techs would be so incompetent. I'm calling them up today and demand that they thoroughly flush this yellow stuff out and replace it with the blue. Is there anything I need to instruct them on? Like, should they flush it with water until it runs clear?

Drain.
Flush with distilled water until it runs clear
Add Alde/Rhomar until all until distilled water is flushed out.

Any idea how much distilled water they should use? I will bring the water to the dealership so that they don't cheap out and use city water!AnOldUR said:

My 2020 320S only takes about two gallons to fill the glycol, but the 400's have more plumbing. I've heard it's a four gallon system. It will take at least the system capacity to flush, but more is better. I bought four gallons of distilled water when I switched from Century to Rhomar. Someone here with a 400 would be able to give you a better answer.

I just completed a Century to Century flush and refill on my 400 and I used 5 gal of distilled before it looked clear. On my first flush about 3 years ago I started with tap water and finished with distilled. I could see a very faint yellow tinge at the end of my 3rd 5 gal bucket of tap water. I was not as worried on my second exchange since I was not switching glycols so just used distilled water.
Please note that the Alde flow hot water booster may hold some glycol during a regular flush? You must force the Flow pump on to move this section of glycol I believe.
If I were you I would put in a call to Truma/Alde and get a specific recommendation. I am sure it has happened before. I have not read of any problems but they may not show up until some time has passed.
Good luck
