2018 Boondock Tongue Mount for Spare Tire

I am looking for a tongue mount  that I can used to have the tire be perpendicular to the trailer.  Most people recommended the Max Haul 70214 From Amazon, but it is a bit too short for the large spare tire of the Boondock. Has anyone found a mount that works?

    Welcome to the forum @Mindy,

Lots of treads on this forum use the search feature (above right) with “Spare Tire Mount”.

Believe you will find most of us have mounted the spare to the Jack Post so the tire is facing the tub and parallel to the T@B front wall. A few folks have mounted to the A-Frame side rails like many trailer boaters do but those installations are not as fully documented on the forum as Jack Post installations.

Here are a couple of threads to get you started . . .

@Mindy, I do not recall what type of storage tub is on the 2018, but if you have the aluminum tub, you can use nuCamp's spare tire bracket for the Boondock spare.  It has worked well for me on my 2019 320 S Boondock Lite.  The below link provides information on that bracket:
