Refinish acrylic window?

spd6spd6 Member Posts: 5
I made the mistake of storing my camper outdoors, in it's cover, for the winter in Maine. We had a very windy winter and the flapping cover caused multiple abrasions on all the windows. Can they be "refinish" like a foggy acrylic headlight? TIA.

DSW recently did a nice video on cleaning the windows and some of the products he mention act as protectants.  not totally helpful for you regarding restoration, but I, too, use a cover and am going to look to some of these products to provide a little more protection (and look for some kind of covers I can use when the bigger cover is on them.

Novus works well. Three stage polish/repair. My trailer came back from the dealer last year with a gouge in the back window. I had to go over it three times to buff it out, then they polished again and it looks good. They also use Novus.

I've been using Meguiars #10 and #17 cleaner and polish since owning an early Miata in the 90's.  It works well on removing the fine scratches on the T@b's windows.

Typically we use dish washing soap on a wet window applied with a microfiber cloth and rinse with water and dry with a clean microfiber cloth. However, to remove micro scratches, superficial abrasions and polish our acrylic windows, we've found this product, available from most auto parts stores, very useful:
