Almost a full month and found nothing wrong!!! (Thread has been merged)

So after almost a full month they found absolutely nothing wrong. They did fire 2 service techs in that time period and blew all that time. My bumper to bumper warranty ends July 8th 2026. To say I am upset would be an understatement . Do I trust them? NO.

I am going to have to do troubleshooting on my own. Has anyone else been exposed to this kind of situation ?

    From earlier thread:

I am new here and learning the ropes and thank all of you for helping me learn to navigate my trailer.  I was disappointed that my new 2025 Tab 400 did not come with an owner’s manual . I had to download it.  For as much money as I spent, it should have come with a trailer. I am only finding out today that the Isotherm 130 is purely a DC refrigeration unit.  I could not find any information on that fact .  Now I know I don't have to turn on the inverter. 😂

I bought my camper last year, July 2025, because I love the concept and smaller size. I am learning now as I go. Currently, it's in the shop for solar/ refrigeration issues. I truly feel the fridge is fine. I plan on upgrading that to a digital control unit instead of mechanical.  As I upgrade something, I will post pictures.

I plan on taking it back to Alaska where I spent a month traveling around the state! I love Alaska!! Not to say I don't want to see the rest of the US though. I will. Right after I get all the bugs out of my Trailer and revamp a Manuel that makes sense. I am also going to make my Old Trailer repair shop a NuCamp specialist. He had primarily worked on vintage Airstreams. He will become the West Coast lead for our trailers.😉

You will note I have bought a cover for the vent on the AC unit! Looks great!

The AC worked great in Yuma where the temperatures soared to 120's. Kept the shades down and running at 68. I like it cold!

    Sincerely Todd K

Welcome! Also: what cover did you get for the AC? The only ones I’ve been able to find online attach with snaps, which my 2024 400 doesn’t have. Thanks!

Could you share exactly what your solar/fridge issues were? We had a 2019 400 that we traveled extensively in until Dec 2025 when we upgraded to a Haven. One thing we did to keep the 400 cool was to add sun screen to the windows. I purchased a roll of the material from a big box store and then cut pieces to fit each window. Then for the smaller circle windows I put a suction cup in the center to hold it in place. For the larger windows I put one in each corner. The the storage tub I glued the same on the inside of the cover. As for the a/c cover, Sea Biscuit makes a custom cover that easily snaps on. It's metal and while it is held in place by snaps, ours always held firm. In fact on our trip from FL to AK (4 months) it worked perfectly. When in storage, we snap the soft cover over the top of the Sea Biscuit cover. Our 400 had the three way fridge and when we upgraded to a new tow (F150) we discovered the Ford wasn't providing adequate power through the 7-pin to keep the 400 batteries charged so after a few hours our batteries were so low, the fridge would turn off. The cure for us was to install a DC-DC and after that no issues. We loved our 400 but we are getting up in age and my wife was tired of crawling over me for the night bathroom runs and she wanted a dry bath. Got it all in the Haven and didn't have to change tow vehicles.

Well yesterday I called Blue Compass Rv in Henderson, Nevada to check the status on my Trailer that has been there since May 18th. Have they done any investigations into the solar, refrigerator and possible causes for it having run the batteries down to less then 10.3 volts. NO. The have done absolutely nothing but fired people who apparently have not been doing their jobs. NuCamp last spoke with them on June 1st and have not heard back from them since. The sorry thing is this is a representative for the NuCamp line of Trailers. At this point I just want my trailer back and wishing I had never bought it from them.

Have you contacted nüCamp directly to pass on your local dealership issues?

Depending on what needs service attention nüCamp might extend your warranty or offer other sane support.

Sorry about your troubles. I agree contacting nuCamp directly would be in order.

It would have been helpful to post this update in your existing discussion on the topic. I had no idea what you were talking about until I checked your earlier thread!

So the service advisor from Blue Compass sent a E mail letter to NuCamp to see if they would extend the warranty for one month. Will see what NUCamp says
