Weak shower floor fix

I searched but only came up with a post of an earlier year model that doesn't seem to look like mine. Has anyone reinforced the shower pan in a 2025 320 ? I can't believe NuCamp let these things out with the shower pan flexing that much ! Anytime the wife or myself steps between the floor drain and outside wall it feels as though the shower pan might rip from the wall . There has got to be 2" of void between the pan and floor of the camper. I would rather fix the issue before it starts cracking and possibly leaking. I looked from the inside of the wheel well area (under the Television ) but could not see anything. I was hoping to be able to at least shoot some foam under there, but did not see any access to the area in question. I did not see any access from underneath the camper either but I did not drop the plastic liner . Any advice would be appreciated.

@rydfree, I do not have an answer for you, but did find this post that may be of interest. I do not know it is the post you referenced above (I am thinking of a different discussion), so I am sending it along just in case. Good luck!!

Thanks, I had not seen that particular thread, but it seems it died without any updates on how to fix.

    Hi,

There is a 3 part video on you tube on how someone reinforced the shower floor. Can’t seem to find the link , but here is a picture that might help to find it.

Thanks for the video suggestion. That is a video that I watched a few months ago but his 2015 is more accessible to that area than my 2025. My floor drain is in the center and I don't have that access box underneath, unless it is hidden under the plastic liner that is covering the bottom of my Tab. I also could not see anything from the wheel well area as he did. I am going to try that again tomorrow and see if I just wasn't bending my old body enough to get a proper look, lol. I watched one video, not sure if it was his though, where they actually cut a small square out of the shower pan near the edge and filled with foam underneath then Fiber glassed a repair patch in. I don't care to go that route unless it has begun to crack already. I'm going to do something, just haven't figured out what exactly yet. That bottom flexes way too much for my comfort.

There are a lot of different threads that show what is happening under the shower pan, that are not necessarily about a soft shower pan. There are a lot of posts about the broken gray tank drain that is located all under the shower pan.

This is just one, and it does include the links to the Mark Turney videos that were posted above.

Here is another, but on a 400. After you get the area under shower pan uncovered, there isn't a lot of variance in either the 400 or 320, it seems to me.
