The mixer is the thing with the hot and cold handles, right? Not sure I want to tear into that. If someone does and finds any squirrels let me know.

Photomom - Not the faucet - It's a valve in the water lines generally located in the area where all the winterizing valves are under the seat. Can't recall when it was added but fairly recently.

Wouldn't that also affect the inside shower? We did take brief showers in our driveway and the pressure seemed acceptable.

PXLated, Photomom is correct, the mixer that the manufacturer and I are talking about is the one contained in the shower unit (H&C handles), not the one that mixes for the all of the hot water.

Ahhhh - Only time I've seen the word "mixer" used here it was in reference to the one in the main line.

The Gnomies found a 2nd mixer with the 2nd shower!! Always new info here. I'm one of the lucky ones that didn't get the mixer stuck in the water lines during production. I like mah water hot like I like my... um, electric blanket. Yeah, blanket.

Well, this is what I did, right or wrong. There is a little nylon thingamabob that the "volume control" on the shower handset (note: it does NOT say "on/off") controls. I took it out completely and am getting a nice water flow. Of course you have to turn the water on and off using the hot and cold knobs, but since the "volume control" didn't turn the water off anyway (a feature, not a bug, as we say in the software biz) I can live with that.

@photomom, Do you have a photo of your handset? I don't remember a volume control on mine.

The "volume control" is the little silver lever neat the top.
    I
    It is marked ""volume control."

@Photomom, mine is different. Mine's just like the one in my previous picture of the whole unit. 2017 Outback S.

Yours looks really nice. Can you tell if there is a manufacturer name on it?

It's an ITC (manufacturer) Fontana (model). It's what LG/PV installed when I requested an optional outside shower on our Outback S.

Interesting. Mine is also optional. I like the look of yours but can water get into the area where the hose comes out of?

@Mr_Mrs_Gnome, do you like your shower head? Does the water completely shut off when you're not pressing the trigger down or does it also have the trickle "feature?"

@Photomom, We really dislike it. The knobs are difficult to turn, the hose is maybe 5 feet, which sounds like a lot but you lose some inside the T@B, and the nozzle only has an off/on (can lock on) with no flow control. On city water with the knobs turned on full, the arc of flow goes out maybe 8 - 12" if spraying parallel to the ground. The box is mounted in the back on the driver's side just by the Alde plumbing. Unless I can find a fix, I'm sorry I spent the extra $$. We use it to rinse off after kayaking or hiking.

There are no markings. It is a generic plastic bottle.
