@TerryV6, are you sure PXL didn't invent this?

Ahhhh, what a bunch of jokers. You need to get out camping. It's obvious you have too munch time on your hands :-)
-
'Ya thinkin'? I still stick to my trusty old blue percolator, hasn't let me down in 20 years! I know what the coffee will taste like every time. 'Course it never hurts to "spice" it up a little!

I just filled up my super 72oz thermos at a Casey's and it cost me 78 cents - lowest I've ever paid. The average over two years is around $1.50. Can hardly make coffee for that. And this new, green Stanley keeps stuff hit for around 8hrs and warm for 24.
-
Is the 72 oz Stanley the "Silo" version? Good thing you heft heavy photo equipment around.

You need to limit yourself to 2-3 cups a day... Or so my doctor says...

And we were camping this weekend... Up north eh.... Was at a party with people we haven't seen in 40 years since college... Interesting.....Terry & Jody... 2025 Honda Ridgeline RTL

2-3 cups is old advice - it's unlimited with healthy benefits from the latest I've seen :-)
Trouble with most food related studies is it's impossible to do longish term studies with control groups so most is theory/conjecture and at some point proven wrong. -
But... This comment was in the humorous vein, as you were supposed to connect it to the size of the cup I included....Terry & Jody... 2025 Honda Ridgeline RTL

PXL, Ok, so my resident microbiologist says..... Better?

If you'd just left it at - "cups a day..." (full stop) ;-)

My Aeropress came today. Made a great cup of coffee and is super easy to clean out. Thanks for the recommendation, ChanW! I also got the tiny @$$ grinder that JustJudy recommended. Works great!! Thanks!!Sheila and the Mullis Pups (Winston, Morgan, Leroy & Dakota)

Your resident microbiologist confesses to drinking the unlimited Bunn Machine coffee at the local Waffle House while studying for her degrees - drinking cup after cup for hours and hours at a time. Given the time since getting said degrees and the fact your resident microbiologist is still "alive" (at least one brain cell is!!), then the 2-3 tankard cups myth is debunked!

Coffee is one of my few vices l have left. I think I might have a cup that size. I was never in any way advocating limited intake...Terry & Jody... 2025 Honda Ridgeline RTL

I think the cup size was just a wee small for PXL. Remember, he has a silo Stanley thermos he fills that keeps him (and possibly his T@B) running. 2017 820R Retro Toy Hauler from 2015 Tabitha T@B from 2009 Reverse LG Teardrop (but a T@Bluver at heart) -
My generator is retrofitted to run on caffine fumes.
-
But wait, PXL told us it was SOLAR POWER! Wonder if he has a funnel hooked to his panel somehow??????????

85-90% of the time I'm on solar - Do have a generator also. I save up the caffine fumes for when I need to pull that out.

That's because everybody dies before the study is over.PXLated said:2-3 cups is old advice - it's unlimited with healthy benefits from the latest I've seen :-)
