Travel Johns: No toilet in your T@B? Need to conserve water and power? Disposable and amazing.

I've used these when hiking with women (allows you to pee standing up, using a tree to hide behind), and while tent camping (not enough room to stand up and it's dark at night!).
I keep each in a ziplock gallon bag with a little toilet paper. If you buy 30, they are $1.67 each, which is a very small price to pay for not having to leave your trailer/tent in the dark to walk to the bathroom. While I do have a bathroom in my T@B, I keep it stocked with these as well. I am able to use each twice, results vary by your bladder size and amount of alcohol consumed

AldebaranJill, Gotta love the picture on the packaging. That was good for a laugh at the very least, thanks for sharing!

Great product. My wife has used them when we are 4 wheeling.

The Freshette is great for the "stand-up-and-pee-cuz-you-are-the-only-female-motorcycle-rider" device. GoGirl is too flexible and you end up piddling on your boots.
When I had my little teardrop, I loved TravelJohns. Expensive, but when it's cold outside at midnight, it sure beats going outside whether to use Mother Nature (watch out for the 3-leafed vines) or to the facilities you camped far away from to stay out of high traffic areas.2017 820R Retro Toy Hauler from 2015 Tabitha T@B from 2009 Reverse LG Teardrop (but a T@Bluver at heart) -
A plastic coffee can works great for either sex. Just empty in the morning. There is a book called "How to Shi* in the Woods". I left out a letter on purpose. It has a section for ladies. Fun reading.

The Travel Johns convert the liquid to a gel almost instantly.

Used something similar back in my flying days. A buddy of mine was too cheap to buy them, used a coffee can UNTIL his mother had to go, couldn't hold it and sitting in the copilot seat next to him, tried to use the can while in turbulance on final approach into Sky Harbor. Needless to say, he was well stocked after that.

PXL, I was going to mention that... have an old "fixer-upper" PA-22-150, and have been reading about the bottles used in flying. I have a tremendous capacity for "holding it," but will need to get, at some point, a remedy for others. (I figured you were an old aviator!)
The Travel John seems like a good solution! -
irvingj - Had lots of fun flying. Think I ended up with 700 hours. 500 of those in a Turbo 210 or Mooney 231 with somewhere around 300 on instrument flight plans. Been 10 years since I flew though. Twas a great time.

I never flew, drove (and now kayak) significant distances without this baby. Unlike the chemical pouches, they are reusable. $8 at most places.

Yeah, that's the one I've seen in Sporty's & other places.
When my brothers & I were kids, our mom remarried. An old NH farmhouse, and we stayed in "the Ell." We weren't allowed into the main house at night, which was where the only bathroom was... we used milk bottles & emptied in the morning. (Remember when milk was delivered to your house in reusable bottles?) Also had to sometimes chase rats away at night, but that's another story! -
PXL, I lived in the town next to where those Mooney's were made. It was fun to watch them do test flights. There was also a famous cemetary there where many Texas Rangers were buried.2017 820R Retro Toy Hauler from 2015 Tabitha T@B from 2009 Reverse LG Teardrop (but a T@Bluver at heart)

Dad and his fishing buddies use them on the smaller boats during tournaments. His isn't bright red. LOL.OutbackAZ said:I never flew, drove (and now kayak) significant distances without this baby. I have used Travel John's for a few years. They are nice after I have winterize or otherwise won't be able to dump. Last spring I found for a big sale on them and ordered a bunch.
