The wife an me just purchased a almost new new 2007 T@B.We are not new to camping being from Phoenix and camping for many years in the state and in Mexico. This unit was only used three times, covered at all times and all the original paperwork present except the purchase receipt. All the units work, the gas furnace fired up and had the new smell for about ten minutes. This came with two never used awnings, set them up without inst and one bottle of wine and all is good.If anyone knows the manufacture of the awnings i would like to know.
We have been looking into a small trailer as we have had three coleman tent trailers and two rv's in the past but have not been camping for a long time.So lucky to find this gem in Phoenix last week.We do have two trailers on the beach in El Golfo de Santa Clara in Sonora,Mexico but going to let the kid and his friends have it and we will camp "down the beach" as we did many years ago.Went to Tabazona on Saturday to get a feel and see the units in action, what a great group of people we met!!!!Lots of info and help with all of the unique needs the T@b needs. You all will be hearing from me as we use this cool little unit!!

What a great discovery! The picture of your T@B with the dual awnings reminds me of a previous teardrop we owned with with similar awnings but on a smaller scale. We called it "Flying Dumbo".2015 T@B 320 S, 2019 Jeep Cherokee

Aren't those Thermarest awnings?Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio

Tim,
The awnings are original equipment supplied by Dutchman just for the T@B. No actual manufacturer known, just available from Dutchman in either silver (like yours) or flower power pattern. The material used for the silver ones is very heavy duty and reflective - seems to block the heat as well as the light.
Sam,
Thermarest awnings are yellow and grey.Geo & Liz

Thanks for all the info and support,Geo thanks for the info, you are correct the material is very heavyduty. The poles are the old school metal ones with twist to tighten. They do take up lots of room when transporting.2007 t@b,no mods at all,2013 Jeep jk 4 door,Sedona,Az and El Golfo de Santa Clara,Sonora,Mexico,

That looks like Dutchmen version-- very simple; you'll love it! Just watch for the floor going soft if any moisture gets in around the front seam between floor & curved front. We loved ours!

Thanks for the advice Irvingj, not much rain in Az and Mexico, but where would I seal it if needed? Thanks!2007 t@b,no mods at all,2013 Jeep jk 4 door,Sedona,Az and El Golfo de Santa Clara,Sonora,Mexico,

On mine (and some had different problems), water seemed to come right at the seam between the floor area and the curved front. It was easy to see the gaps that had opened up there.
-
Yes, front seam and wheel wells. The wheel wells were of a poor design with no overlap lip to secure and seal it. Check from underside for gaps between floor and the plastic wheel well.
I had to replace our floor this fall. Discovered during tear apart-rebuild that the factory had not put any caulking on the bottom lip of the door frame. The worst damage was at the door area, but also the front corners and the wheel wells.Geo & Liz

Yes, on mine the worst spot was also right in the door/entry area. You can cut, then lift the linoleum in the floor-height storage area just to the right of the door --under fridge-- to check for wetness or spongy wood. I ended up reinforcing that whole entry area with 3/16" plate steel attached to the frame (and under the stabilizer foot there) and re-sealed the front. See cardboard pattern. Used a different method for the main floor area. More info in "soft floor" thread.
And Geo is right: check those wheel wells, too.
