Does anyone know if it's safe to drill a couple of small holes here? I'd like to install a waterproof toilet paper holder? I have a 2017 Max S

Be careful if you choose to do so. Some have had success. Here are a couple of pictures of the construction. Not much more than foam. There seems to be a nice piece of wood on the front driver side wall. Hope this helps.

You can put the TP holder on the opposite wall, next to the kitchen. But no screws. Use Gorilla tape or Waterproof Command Velcro strips.

JJandJJ - welcome. It doesn't help that the wood is behind the toilet! As Verna said, you can always try Gorilla Tape/Command strips. We use a TP size Tupperware container left on the floor of the BR and do not worry about anything falling off the walls.

I use a 32 oz Coffee Creamer container with a screw-on lid that has lasted over two years now.

The ol' Folgers coffee plastic container works just fine for us. No plans on doing an "open house" of the bathroom area in the near future anyway!

Any clear plastic Costco container of cashews, trail mix, pistachios, almonds, etc. works great - until you realize you left it in the TV. That's when you appreciate the toilet being in the shower.

I use a tank TP holder that I hook on the door, then flip it to the outside when I take a shower. $8 maybe, easy squeezy.

Remember to empty the container before trying to put the TP in!

Too funny Larry! Perhaps someone just needs to invent waterproof toilet paper. Then we wouldn't need a cover.

I made a simple wooden holder that hangs from the shower bracket with a bungee cord and is easily removed when needed.

It is important to stow or secure it before travel, though. I learned the hard way that the TP likes to unroll itself as you bump along. :-)
