I just replaced the crank with if I remember a 1/2” bolt. Just pop off the top cover for access. I think it was a 6” bolt. I cut off the thread. Then I drilled a small hole in it to match the crank handle. If you are not good with tools. Ask a friend or neighbor. Good luck

  Jkjenn if you get a chance could you measure the distance from ground to the bottom flange axel mounting bracket. Also what size tires are on your outback axel. I think they use a different tire size…

  We had that happen on a previous RV. By using a hair blow dryer I was able to shrink it back into place leaving no damage.

  I decided to put some baskets on the wire shelf. That way I can store small items and they will not fall through. So far the total investment is about $20.
