@maddmike, that is absolutely great! Print out these directions and remember the Alde is run by a circuit board, which means it has it’s own computer type based brain. You can fix it with your technical skills! The fun time comes if your circuit board goes out and you need to change it out, but ya don’t feel confident of…
@warbler_road, I had the dreaded gas failure error in my former 2019 T@B 400 with the 3020 Alde. I worked off and on for two days with Creed and Alde Support. I gave up and took it to nüCamp. Austin replaced the main circuit board as the normal “disconnect all DC power to the Alde, wait for a few minutes and reconnect”…
I will check the Alde fuses again just to be sure. However, the current hypothesis, suggested by Ed in Pleasant Valley, is that the circuit board has blown?!
That is a bad idea. You could damage your Alde circuitry, if an overload or short occurs, if Alde specs are for a 3.1 amp fuse. The fuse is there to protect the Alde circuit board from damage due to voltage overloads or shorts. cheers
@MuttonChops, the thermal 'fuse' is a special component soldered into the circuit board, designed to burn out if the circuit board gets too warm. I was "lucky" enough to find it when our Alde wouldn't start even after checking the two 'hidden' fuses. @gulfarea Art, I don't know if they've added that to the Alde. I've only…
Looks like a pretty easy mod as long as the panel in the NuCamp products will recognize the pump. I believe it plugs to the Alde circuit board so not even any real wiring needed.
The Alde was working fine when we put the 2016 Tab Max S to bed last fall, but it's not working on either electric or propane now. The 15-amp fuse for the Alde in the converter is fine. The valves all appear to be set correctly. After removing the black plastic cover to expose the Alde's two fuses, I can see two glass…
In my 2018, 320S tab, the control panel went black. Diagnostics were all electrical inputs and outflows to the Alde registered operative via fuch meter readings leaving the wall panel as the culprit—maybe. After consulting with Truma/Alde (IN), the ultimate problem might be the circuit board within the 3010 Alde boiler…
