No Hot water

I have a new TAB 320S and am having hot water problems.  The Alde system heats up, the water temperature is elevated to about 147 degrees.  The hot and cold water flows with the water pump on (both are at the same unheated temperature). The indoor and outdoor shower are doing the same thing as the sink.  I have emptied and refilled the water tank.  Checked the glycol and it is good.  I worked with the mixing valve and adjusted it to its most open location and then adjusted it further using the instructions on the forum for undoing the screw on top to move it almost to the final end of its range.  The rubber hoses for glycol are hot.  There is no sign of running water on either side of the mixing valve.  The water tube into the mixing valve is room temperature.  It appears that I have a boiler full of hot water, but it is not going anywhere.  Do you have any thoughts about what might be happening.

Is your Alde bypass valve open?  How do you know your boiler is full of water?  Did you crack the yellow valve and see if water pours out?

It is it is a 2021.  It is in dry camp mode.

His bypass valve is vertical, see left side of  Nautilus panel.  Not sure which way is bypass on this unit, but on the 400 vertical handle is in bypass mode, no hot water!  I think the red Alde handle needs to be in the horizontal position to get hot water.

Bingo!  After you turn that handle, open a hot water faucet with the pump on and let the boiler fill, then heat.  That should work:)

Be careful...you may need to adjust that mixing valve as it may now be too hot.

Connected to city water, no water pump.  Changed Nautilus valves to city water. Water flows in both hot and cold but there is no hot water (water temp is the unheated for both hot and cold).  Alde shows glycol temp at 174 and water temp at 147.

Did you adjust the large red handle on the left in your first photo?  We think that you have bypassed the Alde water tank and water can not flow into the tank.

You still need to make sure your Alde is not bypassed. If it is, the symptoms you describe will occur regardless of whether you are on city water or using the pump.

OK.  It is funny how things can be invisible in plain sight.  I was so focused on the blue and green knobs in front of me, I never noticed the red bypass valve on the left.  The nautilus instructions for my unit does not even mention or show that valve in its literature either.  Thanks.  I will see how that goes.

Thanks @blueangel.  We are all learning the ropes with the 2021 models!  Your trials enhance our learning, so don’t hesitate to add to our education here on the forum.  Consider entering a signature line or a picture (like mine) so we know what year and model TaB you have.  Now, go take a shower☺️

The position of those handles is very important, but not covered in the manuals.  So, being a new 2021 TAB320s owner, this is very enlightening.  What to look for.  Didn't know there was a bypass valve or where it was.  Thanks for sharing.

@blueangel Same thing happened to me on my new 320S. I struggled for three hours adjusting the Alde and draining the pump, and waiting 30 more minutes for the water to heat up, etc. My bypass valve was in the wrong position too. Common newbie issue, wish it was in the manual too !!

We are having the same problem described here, with no hot water. We made sure the bypass valve is in the normal position, and it seems the Alde unit is operating, but still no heated water is going through. We tried it first on city water. Then we filled the water tank and use that source. Nothing.

Have you selected hot water on the Alde control panel.  You need to have at least one arrow/triangle selected (dark filled).
    cheers

@Razorhog - what year and model Tab?  How do you know the Alde hot water tank is filled?  Have you scrolled to the control panel glycol and water temperatures?  What are the temperatures?  Have you adjusted the mixing valve under the bench?

2021 320 CS-S. This was the first time we have used this new trailer. We made sure the bypass valve was in the normal position. On city water we got no hot water. When we filled and ran off the tank (dry camp) we got warmish water but not for very long. I'll revisit the mixing valve. We had it set to the warmest, but I did not take screw loose and re-adjust. The control panel was set to heat the water. It was on the first (halfway up ramp symbol). I thought moving it further (full ramp) was for showering. I could not find the glycol and water temp on the control panel.

I'm not sure the source of your problem, but I can say that your water supply (city water vs fresh water tank) has absolutely no bearing on how or whether the Alde heats water.
