I bought a Lund 36 in. Flush Mount Truck Tool Box from Home Depot and a smaller propane tank from Camping World, I cut 4 vent holes in it and holes for the gas line & Elect. It gives us a lot of storage.

propane tank?
Dennis, I hope you realize that you will have to be very careful when you back your trailer up not to jackknife it very far so that the corners of your box won't leave a "major impression" on the back of your TV that won't just buff out. I did what you did but used two smaller boxes. The back one is just large enough for two batteries and a 4.25lb tank.(Home Depot.com) The front one is V shaped for more clearance when turning, it is for leveling boards, wheel chalks, etc., and we always have plenty of etc.
BBchBum, tongue weight isn't effected a whole lot because removing the factory cover saves 27lbs. and the smaller propane tank saves 20lbs.
BBCH With the smaller Propane tank it doesn't.
JandJ I have plenty of room turn tight. I placed the box on the tongue then turned the trailer to jackknife it, to make sure it didn't hit before mounting it.
Rolling 4.5 lb. / 1 gal.

Thank you

The plan is to have two 100Ah AGM batteries, 20 lbs propane tank and maybe the spare tire mounted on the left side.
Also, did you do anything to vent the bottom of the box? There were some rumblings in another recent thread about propane canister enclosures needing to have some sort of venting, but I'm unsure of the specific requirements.
Also, I agree with @Ratkity that there should be a rubber grommet or automotive trim around those holes so the propane hose doesn't rub on the sharp edges. It was absolutely amazing this winter how many things moved during travel that hadn't moved before, due to the rough roads. Protect where you can see it may be a problem, protect after you find a need.

I looked at several options for the holes that have wires or hoses coming through and settled on this material. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KG9BAY0/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I considered this as well but don't like that it is plastic

I liked this best for the hose specifically but you have to buy a package of 25

@verna In my case I'm using AGM batteries that don't need ventilation but duly noted for those that do choose to go the deep cycle 6 volt route.http://lowprolockdown.com/shop/category/honda-eu2000/
Also, did you encounter any challenges removing the existing brackets, etc. that were inside the original plastic tub?
The removal is pretty straight forward, just 4 bolts and disconnecting the hoses for propane and the positive wire connected to the electrical cutoff switch. Removing and reinstalling the propane regulator and battery cutoff. I also removed the zamp solar plug and had to reinstall it on the box which was a little tricky with my limited drill bit selection. I was able to reuse two of the holes in the trailer frame that the T@b box was bolted to and added 3 new 1/4" holes 1 for where the new battery box landed and one on each side for the front of the box. It's pretty easy to drill through. Hope that helps, none of this requires a degree in hackery.

Question: Someone on the Forum has mounted the spare tire on the side of their Lund Box. Curious how the box needs to be reinforced to carry the weight?

I pulled the mount off the back of the Tab to reuse it and found a 3" x 3" 1/4" steel plate for the inside to create a sturdy mounting surface. It works, but something bigger to spread out the mounting surface on the inside would be better. If you could find something that is 5"x5" and it doesn't need steel and it doesn't need to be 1/4" thick (that's just what I had laying around) 1/8th aluminum would work just fine. But spreading the area out over inside mount would make it more substantial. My tire will bounce a bit, so I'll need to keep an eye on it, to see if I'm creating any weaknesses on the side of the box. I'll try to get a pic this weekend to post.
