My old Centennial battery had dies, so I purchase a new one form Costco but it won't power the trailer. If I plug the Trailer into an outlet the power is working. I'm not sure if I need to replace any fuses. Please help
While you are there looking at the fuse, look for the Battery Disconnect Switch. It looks like this. This switch must look like this ( "On") to bring battery power to the trailer. to
Yes the nwe battery is fully charge, I brought the old battery to Costco and they gave me the Costco brand and told me it’s the same kind with the centenial one just different brand
If you had your battery out and then back in.....send us a picture (if you can) of how the wiring of the battery looks now. The Tab gets a bit confusing......
In addition to the fuse at the battery itself, there are two fuses in the converter that also need to be intact for the battery to provide power to the trailer. One is labelled "battery charger" and the other "reverse polarity protection" (or something similar). On mine they are the bottom two fuses in the converter's 12V fuse panel.
@pthomas745... Thank you for info regarding the fuses. It was the fuse for the battery wires that was burnt. I just replaced the 30 amp fuse and now its working. You save me $$$ for not getting it service. 🤗🤗🤗
