I personally haven’t installed a backup camera, but, maybe one of these days I will.

So my friend is a mechanic and we are installing my backup camera Friday. Basically, on amazon, bought a screen and Bluetooth camera. Installed to the Ridgeline. Works well. Here is the plan: first, when ordering this camera and screen, they provide you another camera free if you ask. So, affixing to the bottom of the cs s on the diamond plate. Running the power cable tucked up under the bottom cover on the tab. Bought some sae cables and connections. Going to run to a weatherproof toggle switch mounted by the tub where battery is. He said we can tap into the power on the 7 pin. Need it on, toggle power on. Not using, toggle it off. It should connect to monitor in the tv, like the tv camera. Fingers crossed. Mark
Hi @wright2janet - I just installed a 'license plate' backup camera on my T@B 320 S and it is fabulous! However... the 320 has a very different license plate design than the 320 Clamshell does. As I found out, on the 320, the light over the license plate takes up the space where many of the cameras would normally sit. I thought I had found a great backup camera, but it would not be legal in some states. I think I can get away with it because of my particular license plate design. Fingers crossed. https://tab-rv.vanillacommunity.com/discussion/12732/less-ideal-than-hoped-wireless-backup-camera-attached-to-the-license-plate#latest Definitely well worth the $ and if you can get one that wires into the license plate light but doesn't obscure your license plate, that is an easier task and doesn't require making any new holes in the exterior of the T@B.
