Well all, its time for us to say goodbye to our (very much loved) 2019 T@B 320s . We have thoroughly enjoyed our time and trips with it . In the end .......its just too "tight" for us . Not too mention, I think I have permanent scars on my forehead ........you all know what I am talking about, lol
. After acquiring a new pup (Golden Retriever) in the summer of 2020 , it really hit home , that our 320 is not going to work for us any longer . We have been looking for a suitable RV that checked all the "boxes" for our traveling adventures for quite some time , and have watched exhaustive hours of you tube videos on new RV walk thorough's (Thanks Josh @ Haylett RV for all the videos) ! Its tougher shopping for RV's with no RV shows due to Covid ! Anyway , we have been searching for something right between our T@B 320 , and our "Big" 32' Keystone Outback (which is TOO big for us to travel stress free) . Kind of like Goldilocks ........not too big, and not too small - right in between - just right ! lol
BIG hint to NuCamp ............ we REALLY wished something between the 400 and Avia was at least an option . T@B 400 wont work for us because we are not sleeping sideways , and Avia is just too big for what we need . Maybe something like a "500" or Mini Avia , would bridge the gap , and give previous T@B owners something to "move up" too . We are VERY happy with the quality of NuCamp , VERY HAPPY , but sadly , nothing else exists in the NuCamp lineup that we can move up too . Actually shopping for "other" Rv's was quite daunting , as we are used to the NuCamp quality . Short of a $100K Airsteam or a $65K Lance , its tough to find RV's that compare to NuCamp quality . Sigh ........
In the end , we settled on a WInnebago Micro Mini 2108 TB . It was the closest RV that checked all our "boxes", we could find that was remotely similar to our NuCamp T@B 320 . We special ordered a 2022 unit, due to arrive in June . Luckily, our dealer had 4 upcoming production slots for the model we wanted , and was able to "tweak" the order sheet to suit our needs . Not many options available, as the 2108TB comes pretty well loaded up anyway . We just upgraded to a 15k A/C unit , the new Dometic 10 cubic foot 12v compressor fridge/freezer (not dealing with a 3 way absorption fridge ever again, lol!) and 30 lbs propane bottles over the stock 20's . Should suit us perfectly , and our tow rig (2001 Suburban 2500 8.1 ) will handle it with ease to make for an easy tow .
Not ours ..........but here is exactly what it looks like . It kind of feels like our T@B to us (even though it not) , but GIANT sized! . That said, it will be a sad day , when our 320 rolls out of our driveway for the last time .
And one last picture of our beloved 320s ............
Just wanted to also thank you all , for all the information, help looking for solutions to common issues we all deal with occasionally , and all the various ,and "genius" modifications we all make to our beloved NuCamp T@B's . Thanks for letting us become part of the family .
We will be back, if NuCamp ever decides to manufacture a "500"
So for now .........so long and farewell , and thanks again .
