I discovered alligator clips bridging second fuse location. I bought a 2015 T@B CS-S used a few years back, so I assume previous owner did this. Does anyone have any idea that this is common? Any idea of the danger of this approach? My assumption is they had a fuse that consistently blew, and they did not want to address that. If anyone has any thoughts, please respond, and thank you.

Fusing the negative wire is actually against NEC Code.
