Thought I would start a thread for attendees to share their experience.  This will be the largest event held by nuCamp - 450 attendees and 300 nuCamp trailers located between Winklepleck, Timbercrest and other area campgrounds.  The event schedule is chock full - something for everyone!  Bring your raincoat and boots as it is forecast to be a wet one!

We will be at site 47C if you would like to meet and put a face to a username😊. Looking forward to this very well planned and organized nuCamp event.  See you soon!

Well @Sharon_is_SAM, putting two and two together apparently isn’t my strong point. Or I just missed that part when you introduced yourself as Sharon. Now I have a face to match the username. It was nice to meet you. Looking forward to talking more. This event is amazing!

@AnOldUR - I think nuCamp outdid themselves this year!  The only thing missing is ice!

uCamp22 started off with a big bang in the form of a severe thunderstorm with high winds and power outage!  NuCamp made their new Service Center available as a storm shelter where some of us spent some time last night.  No worries, everyone survived unscathed with the exception of some wrinkled canopies and wet rugs.  We personally enjoyed our waterfront campsite😫 but, we gave it up for higher ground.  The nuCamp staff responded quickly reassigning campsites, towing our TaBs to new sites, modifying the daily event schedule, relocating the breakfast and communicating every step of the way via text.  Real team work in action.  They are currently delivering ice to the campers.  Last night pre-storm we enjoyed a wine and cheese reception and music performed by TaB owners.  Power has been restored and everyone is enjoying the break in the heat.  Mandy and Kendrick will present this afternoon.  I hope to have some photos to share soon!

Our maiden voyage early this week, the wind was strong and we could not erec the curved awning the previous owners gave us. Not that we knew what the heck we were doing. So we sat up and nailed down our 6 sided humungus clam. Survived three night of heavy winds off of the Straits.

Wow, @Sharon_is_SAM, that must have been a heck of a storm with all those collapsed tents you photographed.  First time I've seen the follow-up pics & wasn't wishing I could have been there.
