2016 T@B model S. Has anyone figured out how to fasten the "lift up small cupboard doors" to the ceiling, so that we don't have to hold them up and open in order to remove or add items
@2smellthepines there have been changes to the cabinets over the last several years. On my 2017, the cabinets raise to just above level and stay. I have to push them down and latch in place. The years before, owners did mods to hold cabinet doors up or open. One method uses springs and another uses small hydraulic piston arms. You can use the search feature in the upper right hand and type a few key words to find whole threads on these topics with pictures and instructions. If you need assistance, post again and I'll dig into my archives as I know I saved some of those photos somewhere. -Denise

I used one of these hinges on each door (leaving the original on the other side) and it is enough to hold the doors up.

rfuss928 - did you recently purchase these from Amazon? Several years ago, I bought these and they worked great. A friend recently bought these from Amazon and they do not have the "Stay Open" feature.

Tabaz I've had mine for several years. I would be surprised if Amerock made changes without changing the part number. There are several models and manufacturers of very similar, interchangeable hinges. Many, including those originally installed, do not have strong enough springs to hold the doors up. Mine originally came with an additional, different, hinge in the center to assist the hold open. The Amerock BP-2811J23-14 did not need the assist and held the doors further up against the ceiling than the originals.
Interesting. The upper cabinet doors on my 2015 stay open on their own. However--as testified by the divots in my forehead, I wish they didn't... ;-)
I have a 2015 and they don't stay open. I'm looking at them to see if there is any sort of adjustment to make to the existing hinges to help them stay open, but I think probably not since they don't latch when down.
