Anyone ever install a TT-30R receptacle with a 30 amp single pole circuit breaker pre-installed from Camper World? I'd like to put one on the outside of my garage. That way I could make better use of our T@b in the yard. Looking for info on how to connect to the main 200amp panel.

The NEC codebook might be handy.
I think there are too many "it depends on..." variables to know where to begin. (ie: finished garage? Panel in the garage? Distance from panel to receptacle? Attached garage? etc)
I'd contact an electrician probably, for safety's sake.

Most sane people will not give you instructions because of the danger.

I've done plenty of residential wiring. It's not difficult, but the stakes are high--you have to know exactly what you are doing, and why. If you trust your abilities enough to assume the responsibility, there are plenty of authoritative resources out there you can learn from.
True story: friends' house being built burned to the ground recently due to faulty wiring, the week before they were supposed to move into it.

I believe it--wouldn't be the first time. At least it burned down before they were in it...
Was the wiring being done by a "professional?"
I'd first check with local code to make sure you can have something wired outside like an RV pedestal. A good electrician should know local code and get a proper permit, but I guess I'm not completely trusting of folks as a single female. If I know what is needed ahead of time, then I can verify the electrician knows what he's doing (or she) - he's also aware that I know the local code and more than likely the person won't skip the permit thing. Where I live, the towns abut one another and what might be up to code across the street, might not be ok at my house.
Whatever you decide to do, be safe! We love all our T@bbers.
