@gooselady, that was the only option offered by Leer (truck cap manufacturer). There's plenty of power off the battery and the dome and 3rd tail light are separately wired.

I finally ordered an ARB. I ordered from OK4WD and the same coupon code (OK4BJB9L7) still works for 5% off. The wireless monitor is no longer free, but the insulated cover is. I did some shopping around and couldn't find a better deal.

So, ok..50qt is bigger, but who is using the 37qt, and are you wishing it were bigger? Is 37qt big enough for 2 pulse the 3 way in the tab?
yes we have the 37 and it has been the perfect addition for the 3-way fridges for 2 people.

One thing I do know, is that there are tons of positive customer service stories from ARB users. The other brands may have had good customer service experiences, too, but I have read a out ARB making things right well past warrenty.

The ARB is an amazing appliance. I purchased the 50 qt, which I don't regret, but I can see how a smaller appliance may be desirable. For the expense, however, it is harder for me to justify a smaller unit. To be honest, I use the ARB for work more than camping, as the fridge in the 320 is big enough for a solo camper, but it came in handy when traveling with the spouse.
By no means am I knocking ARB. I have been a fan of their products since the ‘90s when I outfitted my Landrover. I stumbled upon that 3rd party comparison and found it interesting, that’s all.
I just ordered a Goal Zero lithium battery to use to power the fridge when I am not driving. I found they have a secret page with refurbished or open box items at a huge discount. http://www.goalzero.com/last-chance-gear. By the way, if you decide to get a larger GZ pack, it is worthwhile to pick up the MPPT charger, as well.

Sorry Sam, didn't see your question. I just checked and got the 47L (50 qt) capacity. For some reason, I thought I had the smaller one. Either way, they weigh near 50 lbs empty. Only about 4 lbs between the two. I believe that's why I went to the bigger one. For the money, it was the better deal.
Weight was about the same and the cost when it was on sale (and had extras thrown in) sweetened the deal. The remote thermostat was included and the thermal cover as well. I've only tested the remote thermostat and it's a bit cheaply made. It didn't work half the time because the antenna had issues (or the connector).

I don't see where you can even purchase one in the US? Since, Jen and I have been seriously camping (not long since 2012) in tents and teardrop trailers and looking for equipment that would make the experience more comfortable, I noticed that there are many very cool products that aren't necessarily available in the US. These refrigerators are a technology basically pioneered in Australia and for National Luna in Africa. I'm surprised to see that in the US we still hang on to the very simple 3-way fridges but that technology hasn't changed in something like 60 years.
I have not, but done a fair amount of research. NL makes a very good product vut is a lot more expensive.
Painfully more expensive!! lol Like $1800.00 for a comparable size as to what we

So where are you guys keeping the ARB? Inside the TAB? Do you have enough room?
I think most of us keep it in the TV, unless they removed the fridge and mounted it there on slides.

That's where I am planning on; I may try putting it on the floor of the T@b while in transit, and outside(in tent) while camping. Regarding availability in US. We seem to be slow on the uptake, but these coolers have been made popular by the expedition market(thus ARB for example). I mean look at Alde; big in Europe..only available in Airstreams & T@bs in the USA...

Yeah, I learned about them on Expedition Portal, years ago.
