looking to replace our wet batteries with AGM for our solar system. Need at least 250ah and dual 6v. If you have batteries that you love let me know. Thank you in advance.
Does anyone have any idea how that SLR-155 does with all the vibration of an outback? I spend a bit of time on rutted gravel roads and worry about how that might reduce the lifespan of the battery.
I have two VMaxTank 6V agm batteries stacked in my standard 320 tub, and have been using them for almost 2 years- very happily. I've comfortably boondocked without solar supplement for 4 nights... and with some careful conservation, could likely go a week. This is just short of a full screaming endorsement because I just had an unexplained low voltage moment and I'm not yet sure if it was old man user error or a battery problem. I've got a two night boondock trip next week, and a four night boondock trip the following week... so will know soon. Note that a 225 amp hour battery setup takes quite a while to recharge... like, depending on state of charge and charger, 18 hours. I've happily used a NOCO Genius 10 as primary charger/ maintainer.

I use two, 6V Vmax, 235AH AGM batteries in my 2021 320S. I just camped for three days in northern, lower Michigan. I used my refrigerator the entire time, lights, television, water pump (showers & dishes), and heat. I would get down to about 88% capacity overnight. Because we had good sun, my suitcase and factory solar panels had me back up to 100% by early afternoon all three days. I'm really happy with my choice!
