Isn't the ducting and venting different on the new fridges? I'm not sure if you could adapt it to the original openings, or if you'd have to do some cut and patch work on the T@B walls.

The two front vents would need to be sealed and an additional vent cut in the side. At a minimum. I suspect at some point people will start replacing the 3163s with newer model fridges. I don’t want to be the first though.
