@NCNative nice! Looks like the boondock/outback diamond plate battery box is yet to be installed and is inside the trailer. Will it also have 5he outriggers?
@4ncr I understand the Boondock light comes with the rugged tires, higher axle, and diamond plate LP cover. It won't have all the equipment that the 320 Boondock has. I am ok with that as I am needing higher clearance more than anything. I can also add modifications in the future if I find myself needing them.
@NCNative, by the way, according to Creed at Tech@nucamprv.com, the top of the ball on the hitch should be 20” from the ground on the T@B 400 Boondock or Boondock Lite.

@George101, there is no front platform, like on the T@B 320 Boondock, by the way. I do not know for sure if there is a weight difference between the Boondock and the Boondock Lite. Here is a dealer’s list of the specs for a Boondock Lite. Of course, they may not be entirely correct, but it was what was listed for one of their Boondock Lite models:

Dealer told me that the 400 Boondock will not have the platform due to tongue weight issues (the reason why the battery was moved) as they fear owners will overload the platform and make the tongue over 500lbs. Not sure if he knows what he is talking bout but I have yet to see a 400 with a platform.
I plan on taking delivery of my new trailer July 16 and heading straight to UCamp18. I have yet to see my T@B in person, and these are the only photos I have. I am excited I will see it in two and a half weeks! @Verna Thank you for the information on the hitch height, it is extremely helpful!
So did you ask on axle height, or trailer body compared to regular trailer 400? Doesn’t have to be much but here in Utah I’ve seen clearance issues... I wouldn’t change much on mine but this is a great start. Next would be tp dispenser built in to sink🤔
Ok at nucamp the sales guy stated that the axle height is somewhere between 2 1/2 to 3 inches higher. They put an off-road tread tire on. They did not change sidewall strength from the old style. Personally the tread doesn’t matter unless u put power to it. When u go off road and u watch side wall flex I would strengthen that. I know how I’ll order mine. Do we need bounce in tire for softer ride while driving so it doesn’t rattle it apart? I’m in my first year of trailer camping. U can also order trim in multiple colors that our dealers should have the color chart for. Not mine. The wheel well and fender changed size a bit to accommodate the on off of a tire.
@Drewcarrie, not sure what you need to know, but the 400 boondock may give you more clearance, it was not designed for rough, off-roading. Did you mean you were not given the opportunity to order a select color? How will you order your 400?
