@LauraRey, it was never glued. It just clips on. If it is still intact, and doesn't have a broken edge, you can snap it back on. Otherwise, what @SAM said.

Seriously, since my vintage didn't come with those clips, what do those of you that have them do when you want to adjust your windows from the inside? Do you have to unclip and reclip every time?
Do the shades and screens not stay together without the clip? I'm honestly curious about what purpose these things actually serve! Am I missing something here?
The clips bring the upper screen and the lower shade together securely. It allows you to move them both up or down at the same time. It is easy to unclip and move the screens up and the shades down to access the window supports.
