2019 Fall J@m – September 13, 14, 15 - Pacific NW
T@b and Friends Gathering at Ft Worden State Park, Pt Townsend, WA
It is almost time for the WA State Park
Reservation system to open for next September’s J@M…booking your site early is
highly recommended! This will be our
third year to gather and camp at the beautiful Ft. Worden State Park, WA. Please plan to join in the weekend
of September 13, 14, and 15, 2019 (Friday most will arrive, Saturday
activities, Sunday wrap up).
We will put together an agenda much closer to the date, but wanted to get everyone watching the State Park site for early registration! This has been a warm and fun group. We talk, we laugh, we eat, we mod and help each other. Won't you join in?
Happiest Holidays to all,
Melanie, Frank and the Corgis

Register with Park and get your site set up. Then stop by site 60 to let us know you made it. This is when you can pick up an "Open for Mod Talk" sign (if you want to show off your mods Saturday), get a memento if you want one, and let us know if you brought a popup tent or folding tables for our potluck.
We have found that this is such an awesome location that we do not like to over plan. There are great things to experience within the park... and Port Townsend has lots of quaint spots to explore. Plus there will be wonderful people to just sit and hang out with.
Saturday Activities:
10a-12 noon: Organized time for MOD AND GEAR TALK Walkabouts. Look for sites displaying the "Open for Mod Talk" signs; ask before you touch. This is a good time for Gear swaps, too…. As people walk about, have gear set out and labeled that you wish to find a new home for.
5:30p-7p: POT LUCK Look for clustering of tables and popup tents in the upper forest loop. Please bring enough of your favorite dish to share (salads, main dishes, vegetables, breads, desserts, etc). Drag over your own chair, eating plates/bowls/utensils, and beverages.
PLEASE BRING A POPUP TENT AND/OR FOLDING TABLE IF YOU HAVE ROOM IN CASE WE NEED SHELTER FOR GATHERING. If weather is not conducive to all of us being in one place, this may turn into something more like a progressive dinner... but we will make it work.
7-9p: Campfires, adhoc live music and sing alongs, stories, games. Drag your chair over and join in with an old friend… or new one! BRING BAGPIPES, GUITARS, CARDS, ETC. May get chilly.
We begin the trek over Wednesday morning, spending the first night in Kirkland with relatives... then head down to Tacoma/Bremerton. Don't forget if you are taking a ferry, you may want to take your fan cover off to avoid extra charges.
See you all soon!
