Someone posted on FB that UCamp registration is tonight at midnight. I don't see any thread giving us instructions on how to register. Does anyone know?
Here in in the Central time zone, our effort was recorded at 11:01.. My wife had everything set up ahead of time, so it took 3 keystrokes and done. Woohoo... In the top five for sure. Not that it counts for anything though. We were about number 50 last year...

I do believe the whole event has been rather low key this year...kinda like word of mouth...definitely there are lots of other campgrounds within the area and the "off site" package is still a great deal...

I managed to snagg one of the boondocking spots but can't figure out how to be put on stand-by for one of the regular spots also confused does one ticket mean one camping spot? it didn't ask how many people were going to be in the spot-first timer-i've only used my trailer 4 times-for weekends and i've never tried to back into a spot-a real nuby-i guess i'll learn-one reason i want to go-this will be my first long trip-at least 3-4 weeks-coming from south Louisiana and plan to take it slow and visit some family and maybe blue ridge parkway or smokies on the way back I'm nervous but excited for an "adventure" by myself see you there Kay
I can't help with the standby thing, but one ticket means a spot for your camper, not for one person. Also, I've owned my T@b for a few years now and still consider myself a newbie. Lots to learn for sure. !. Read the manual. 2. The company has videos. 3 There are many wonderful help sites, jkjenn has one. I learned a great deal on that one. 4. Lots of helpful stuff here. Since it is like our brains, it is only partially organized and you have to dig in for things. Backing up takes practice. Sometimes things fall into place and bam, you are in. Other times it takes a number of attempts. I would say my biggest problem is the anxiety that "someone' is watching you. That will go away somewhat. As a last resort, when you get to the rally, there are tons of friendly people who will be more than happy to help. We all share a love of camping and our common trailer. I hope to meet you there...

Nope, not me! Maybe telepathically communicated to nuCamp
I am glad you pointed this out because I thought that me at we left on Friday. I reached out to Allison for clarification. I will be there from Sunday to Sunday. It has been a couple of years since I stayed in a campsite for more than 5 days and I am looking forward to it. Now, to find somewhere to dump on the drive back home....

@jkjenn, an RV campground may allow you to dump for a few dollars. Flying J’s charge for a dump, with a discount for having the Campiing World card, and some Camping World’s have dump sites. I used a 5 galling bucket with a lid last summer and then put it in my own toilet at home last summer when I was camping for 3 months in my driveway.

There is a FB group for uCamp run by nuCamp where Allison shares details and responds to questions. If you have not joined, I highly recommend it.
