We have issues with rain collecting in our TAB 400 awning. At least three places. No matter how much we tighten and adjust it collects water and we have to keep pushing out the water. Is this a material flaw or a design flaw?

We really like this awning but it is a pain when it rains. Has anyone had similar issues?

We have contacted PahaQue at least 3 times to assist or help and no response. It seems to be a flaw and would be nice if the would correct. Thanks. Mike

The thread below reports a similar issue with the 320 PahaQue side tent and our fix using tent poles and PVC.  Although the 400 awning is taller, you can probably get even longer poles.

We have since replaced our pole with a Green Elephant pole and we have refitted the PVC with a 4-way and triple arms at the base and top.  If there is wind, you want to make sure the pole is extended so the fabric is taut.  is a simple fix and the PVC breaks down and fits in a small carry bag.

You might look into the optional awing support pole from PahaQue. It came up in this recent thread.

It is strange that Pahaque’s version 2 of their side tent included the additional support pole, but they have not included it in any of their awning builds.  What’s up with that?
