winter storage, tires

When you store your tab for the winter how do you protect the tires or do you need to do anything? They are rather expensive so longevity is key lol.

I do two things which may be overboard. I use Anderson levelers on both tires to cradle the tires in hope to minimise possible flat spots after the long winter. I also cover the tires with tire covers to decrease UV exposure.

We store indoors.  The facility uses carpet pieces under each tire.

I park it outside on 2x12s to keep it level and prevent it from sinking into the ground. I don't use any covers other than the trailer cover itself and what Mother Nature provides in the form of snow and ice. My tires are still just fine after five seasons. I suspect they will wear out from use before I have to worry about degradation while parked. YMMV.

If you are in a high sun area buy a couple of tire covers.....not sure I am too worried about flat spots
