I have heard that I am not the only one having problems with spacing and certain threads staying “lit up/in unread state”. Vanilla has been notified and they will hopefully soon resolve the bug. In the meantime, please enjoy reading those threads over and over and over😜

At least the Mark All Viewed button still works in case the Vanilla team took the holiday week off.

I noticed that, too. Too funny that of all the threads to get stuck open, the ones discussing a toilet are the ones that won’t close!

Yes, spacing is weird in many messages where a single line break looks more like 2 or 3 lines of space. And pictures seems to be smaller on my phone display rather than filling the message area width as I recall.

Ok, this Vanilla problem seems to be evolving...

Now my sig is all screwed up! (But it looks correct when I go to edit it)

Using 'Mark All Viewed' does gray out all topics, but does not set my 'last read' to the end of each thread, as it should.

Me, too @ChanW. I use an iPad mini and it at least lights up to identify the number of new comments per thread.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't nuCamp using the hosted business edition? That's $695/mo or higher.

TabberJohn is correct. There is free source code that in-house developers can use to build their own forum interface, but nuCamp has thus far sprung for the pro-version for us. I appreciate that, too--IMO it's a pretty swank platform, even if it seems to be a little under the weather at the moment. Have faith and patience... :-)

That was on laptop, on my phone everything is "new" posts. I guess I need to read them all again! 😜

If I’m using the iPhone (most of the time), I try to remember to use the desktop version and click on “Mark all posts as read”. Give it time and it does mark all as read, which helps. Otherwise I’m getting really smart because I know what the last posting says in all the discussions 😂

Vanilla just deployed the patch and things seem to be back to baseline. Are members still having problems with the thread not opening up where they left off? I know mine requires me to scroll down to recent posts, but it has been like that for awhile.

So far as the thread 'bookmarks' go, it seems to be working.

My signature is still all wonky, with spaces and blank lines where they shouldn't be.

(My sig should be like the screenshot that I attached in my above message)

I figured it was something to do with whatever the 'spacing' problem is that @BrianZ mentioned, above.

I edited my sig to be simpler, but it still looks wrong, with the same spacing.

Well, @ChanW, Vanilla says your signature line issue has recently occurred. Apparently, some images adjust to be centered and it makes it look like additional line-spacing. They are working on another fix.

Ah, of course. I should have seen that.

I've seen some other folks sig line images are being centered, but I didn't connect it!

I could probably put some code in my sig to left-align, but others would need to as well - not likely to happen!

Funny that it looks right in the sig editor, but not in the actual postings. That probably gives them a clue to go by.

When they fix it, there will be folks that think their not-centered sig image doesn't look right.... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@ChanW, so your signature line spacing is fixed (or did you do that?). But, where is the trailer icon?
