Accessories to dump 2021 T@B 320 cassette toilet

I have looked through the forum and haven’t quite found the answer I’m looking for. I recently purchased a 2021 T@B 320 CS S Boondock with a cassette toilet. I like the option but it’s been very awkward dumping it in disposal stations at the campsite and at the sewer hook up in the RV parks. I noticed that there is some threading on the spout that you poured out from and I’m hoping there’s some sort of hose I can purchase that will screw onto the end of the spout of the cassette toilet and that I can screw into the sewer hook up at the disposal station. Any insight or recommendations? I’d also like to know the best way to clean the cassette toilet.
Thank you very much from a newbie!

I feel that the best part of the cassette toilet is the fact that you don't ever need a hose. Put your gloves on, remove the screw top on the spout, twist it around to face outward from the canister (like a gooseneck) and align the spout to the sewage hole at camp sites. It pours in quickly and easily. Once it's empty, use the cleaning hose at the sites to spray into the cassette. Shake it a lot and pour contents out again.
Enjoy!2021 T@B 320S

Hasn't been a problem for us. Just remember not to push the air relief button until you have tipped the spout into the drain.

Here's a newbie question regarding the cassette toilet: Can the holding tank be emptied into a regular toilet? Obviously, this is physically possible, so the question really is more like: Is it considered acceptable to use a regular toilet to empty the cassette?

Yes @CharlieRN...that is the beauty of the cassette...not sure beauty is the right word when talking about...anyways...many that have them dump in their toilets once they return home...great for weekend trips!Former 2017 T@G Max XL

Yes, but beware of posted signs forbidding this. Sadly, some people are careless about spillage, and some campgrounds do not allow bringing cassettes (or porta pottis) into bathrooms as a result.CharlieRN said:Here's a newbie question regarding the cassette toilet: Can the holding tank be emptied into a regular toilet? Also keep in mind that a full cassette will be heavy. Depending on your physical limitations, you may need to dump smaller amounts more frequently if you’re going to be lifting the cassette to toilet height.2019 320s BD Lite, white with blue (“Haven”)

@hschmidt ;
If you are still interested in some type of hose/adapter to assist with dumping at RV sites suggest you call AVI Casino RV Park; 702-535-5450
During my Jan-2020 stop there they asked if my T@B had a cassette and informed me
AVI does not allow the standard dumping method (described in earlier reply-posts) nor
do they allow dumping direct into restroom toilets. They went on to say AVI requires
an adapter to be used at RV sites & dump station and of course AVI sells that adapter.
My T@B has a black tank (showed them the dump valve) so I did not see what the adapter really is.

@MuttonChops and that was why our T@g didn't stay in Laughlin, Nevada...no dumping...and no camping without a grey tank, which a T@g doesn't have...stayed at Katherine's Landing, Lake Mead National Park near Bullhead City Arizona...just across the river..@hschmidt..if you find out about the adaptor please postFormer 2017 T@G Max XL

Could this be what they are talking about? I don't have a cassette toilet so not familiar with the size of the dumping parts.

This would allow you to hook up to a dump hose I suppose.2018 T@B 320-S / 2007 Toyota Tundra

I dont see how that would work with threaded discharge tube from cassette

We had Laughlin/Avi KOA on our list for our Nevada stop until I found out the same thing. (No tanks on our 2007 Clamshell). We're venturing into Las Vegas instead for a couple of nights to see the strip, Freemont street, and Hoover Dam.ontheroad said:@MuttonChops and that was why our T@g didn't stay in Laughlin, Nevada...no dumping...and no camping without a grey tank, which a T@g doesn't have...stayed at Katherine's Landing, Lake Mead National Park near Bullhead City Arizona...just across the river..@hschmidt..if you find out about the adaptor please postCarol

What is the diameter of the threaded tube on the cassette? From images, it looks smaller than a normal sewer hose.2019 320s BD Lite, white with blue (“Haven”)

The outer diamater of the cassette tube is ~ 2-1/4". I made a simple adapter to lengthen the spout with a 2" rubber coupling for 2" pvc pipe. That and a thumbscrew hose clamp attach the coupling to the cassette outlet pipe. On the other end, you can put a piece of 2" pvc pipe to make it longer or whatever you'd like. Ironically, although I was initially concerned that I would need something like this, I haven't had to use it yet.
Also, I doubt very much that this is what the RV parks are selling but once you get to the 2" pvc on the outboard side, you could probably make up any adapter they require with black tank hose and common plumbing parts.

Found a guy who is close to manufacturing an adapter for cassette toilets (to connect to a sewer hose). Here's a link: https://www.thefitrv.com/rv-tips/cassette-toilet-adapter-solution-the-americanizer/Michele, Tucson, AZ. TV - '13 F150 & '16 T@Bitha special order.

I feel like this could be something used once or twice over the life of the trailer.
I successfully have dumped at all kinds of dump stations as well as FHU sites. Their initial reaction to the cassette toilet was way over the top, IMHO.
Everyone I dump, I am amazed at how easy it is.2021 T@b 320 Boondock "Mattie Ross" | 2021 T@b Nights: 239 | Total nights in a T@b 455 | 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Overland | T@b owner since 2014

Found this on Amazon. Might provide an easier aim for the cassette spout.

Jim, did the description say this was a cassette toilet adapter? Looks more like a standard RV sewer hose to a 3/4-inch dump outlet adapter. A cassette adapter needs to screw on the cassette and then comment to a short bit of RV sewer hose, so one end looks like the Rhino adapter you show, but the other end is a big female screw on bit that sips over the cassette spout and then screws on. That said, the Rhino adapter you show, would work nicely to connect to the Americanizer adapter and then create a nice seal on a standard RV dump outlet. Nice find.

No, Denny, the description was not for an adapter. I was thinking that it would perhaps be a useful target for the spout. One could flex it just right and then insert the spout and pour. You’re right it would work well with the Americanized.Jim and Robin / 2021 320S / 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk / Oregon

Thanks Jim, still a grand find, going to get one to use for my home dump station.

Thanks for the tip @jimrj. This sewer hose adapter looks like the perfect accessory for the "Americanizer" and should make those of us with cassette toilets acceptable to places like the Laughlin/Avi KOA.For anyone looking to buy one, search for "Camco 39319 Flexible 3-in-1 Sewer Hose Seal with RhinoExtreme Hose and Handle-Flexible Fitting".2021 T@B 320 S Boondock / 2022 Telluride - Phillies/Eagles/Flyers Country
